Chart your Child's Accomplishments with a CHORE CHART

my formerly cluttered desk
Photo  by EvelynGiggles
It can be very frustrating to ask your child over and over again to complete their chores without them ever getting done.  Sometimes it's the result of a child not knowing how to organize and prioritize their time.  Help your child develop these important skills by implementing a chore chart.

Chores might include taking out the garbage, doing the dishes, cleaning their room, yard work or putting laundry in the laundry room. After your child completes each chore, they can put a check mark on the chore chart. At the end of each week, it's very inspiring for both parent and child to look at the chore chart and easily see that each designated job was completed.  Just like our to-do lists, your child will find great satisfaction in being able to check off each chore as it's completed and take pride knowing they accomplished a set task or list of tasks.  Once the child is more adept at completing each task and learns to recognize which ones should be completed first, additional ones can be added to the list.

Once you've sat down with your child and discussed and designed a chore chart, it's time to discuss the rewards for accomplishing each task listed.  Perhaps at your home, you decide you will give a set sum for each task accomplished.  If you should decide to grant your child some sort of monetary allowance, make sure it's age-appropriate and granted on a regular basis.

A good rule of thumb is 50 cents per year of age.  However, be firm about the allowance being an all or nothing reward.  No allowance is given if the items on the list are only partially completed or if they haven't been completed in a quality fashion.  Teach your child early to strive to do it right the first time, and learn to save time in the process.

By helping your child to develop a sense of organization early on, you'll equip them with an important skill that will help them succeed later in life.

Tying Into Ancient Philosophies: Does CHINESE MEDICINE Work?

Yokohama Chinese Medicine Mussel
Yokohama Chinese Medicine Mussel (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
You have had a head cold for over a month.  No matter what type of medication you try, you simply can’t get rid of the problem.  It continues to linger, knocking you out of your ability to have the energy you want to and function at the level you want every day.  Getting desperate for an answer to get rid of the illness, you begin to look for alternatives.

A friend recommends an acupuncturist to you in order to help to cure the problem.  There happens to be someone that she has also gone to who could probably help you to be cured of your cold.  Even though you laugh at first, the cold has dragged on long enough, and you are willing to try the alternatives.  You schedule an appointment and get ready to try something a little different with some alternative.

For most, there is some cynicism on whether the ideas of Chinese medicine really work.  Even though it is an ancient practice that has been developed through both the physical and spiritual aspects, it doesn’t tie into much science that Western thought would give a second look at.

Chinese medicine, even though it is not a proven science, is a good alternative for those that are dealing with any type of illness.  For about 90% that use the method, they will say that there are positive results that come from the practice.  All you have to do to see if this is true is to look at the amount of time that it has lasted.  You can also look at the growing popularity of various holistic methods that are now being used.  Most of these come from Chinese medical philosophies.

If you are considering an alternative to your health, you can start to turn to ancient philosophies to better your energy.  Even though science hasn’t proven its validity, time and people have.  Chinese medicine, no matter what level of health you are working towards curing, can be effective if you walk in with the desire to finding the best healing alternatives.

How to Inscribe and Anoint Your RITUAL CANDLES

An almost burnt-down lit candle on a candle ho...
The importance of charging and anointing your candles before you use them for spells and rituals cannot be overlooked.

If you wish for your rituals and spells to work to full effect, charging and anointing a candle with a particular oil, or inscribing symbols and words on them, will make the candle and its purpose all that more potent.

For example, if you are performing a love spell or attraction spell to try and find love or to strengthen love you already have, you would use a pink colored candle(pink represents love) and then inscribed love based symbols. After inscribing, you would then anoint that candle with a love based or attraction based oil.

The same could be said to prosperity or wealth based spells and rituals. A green candle would be used(to represent prosperity, wealth, and money) and then inscriptions towards prosperity and wealth would be drawn onto the candle. Afterword, an oil would be anointed that focuses on prosperity.

Inscribing Your Ritual Candle

After cleansing and blessing a spell candle, you should begin to inscribed the candle with symbols or words towards whatever it is your ritual or spell is on.

For example, if you are using a love spell and you wish to obtain the love of someone you know, you can be inscribed your initials and their initials onto the candle, or you can even use the full name of the quarent and yourself. You can add the names alongside with symbols that represent love as well, such as a heart or even ancient symbols of love such as the Reiki love symbol.

You will need something with a fine point to scratch the surface of the candle. It can be a pin, a specialist scribing tool, a cocktail stick or anything else your imagination can dream up. Once you have chosen your tool though, dedicate it properly, then tuck it away in your magical tool chest and reserve it for just this purpose.

As you are inscribing your candle, visualize the outcome. Make it a small ritual in its own right. Once you have inscribed your candle, you may wish to 'Dress' it. This is optional, your choice entirely, but it's easy and again adds to the potency of your spell.

Anointing Your Ritual Candle

Anointing your candle would be the next step to properly charged your ritual candles. As stated above, you should anoint with oils that are specific to your desired outcome. Therefore if you are looking for love and attraction, you would use those types of oils.

The method for anointing your candle is pretty specific. The most general method is to hold the ritual candle in one hand, dip the first two fingers of the other hand in oil and starting at the top (the end with the wick) run your oiled finger down toward the center of the ritual candle. Stop at the center, lift your finger off, turn the candle slightly and repeat the process until all the top half of the candle is covered. Then starting at the base of the candle, run the oiled fingers toward the center. Again stop at the center, lift the fingers off, turn the candle slightly and repeat the process until the entire bottom of the candle has been coated.

The whole time you are anointing the candle, concentrate on the outcome you wish to achieve with your spell. Experienced spell weavers often anoint the candle in a specific direction depending on the type of spell they are performing. For spells to attract something to the spell-weaver, the candle is anointed from top to middle, then from bottom to middle. For banishing or sending something away i.e... getting rid of bad habits, negative energy, breaking jinxes or hexes, the candle is dressed from the center out to the top, and then from the center out to the bottom.

Once the candle is coated in oil, it can be rolled in herbs relevant to the particular spell you are performing. For example, use Agrimony for breaking hexes and returning them to the sender, use Chamomile for attracting friendship, Hyssop for purification and cleansing, Patchouli for wealth and so on. Once you have lit your spell candle and performed your spell, allow the candle to burn itself out completely.

Herne the Hunter is a symbol of strength and the circle of life. The Gateway tapestry shows the connection between Heaven and Earth. This is a great Celtic tapestry to have in memory of someone that has died. There is also the web of life design that reminds us how each action we take leads to a series of others.

Not just your ordinary newspaper HOROSCOPE & chinese ZODIACS

Horoscope
Photo  by Cali4beach
Some definitions of the word astrology, depending on where you look, tend to sound like it wouldn't be out-of-place in a science fiction movie. While physical science (as in laboratories, chemicals, microscopes) differs from the science behind astrology (the stars, planets, your birth chart), it isn't completely ludicrous to think that getting one's horoscope isn't simply just plucking it out of nowhere.

The horoscope is basically the interpretation of a cosmic chart or map, which tells how the position of sun, moon, and planets relates to a particular person who was born on a certain day. Now the daily horoscope we get from the newspapers and websites are generalized readings of the Sun sign horoscope. It is an estimate of where the sun was located when you were born.

The "true" horoscope, however, is more specific. It takes into account not only the birth date but also the location and time (down to the hour and minute, even) of one's birth. A true horoscope is completely individual because no two people can have the exact same birthplace and birth time.

Now actually interpreting the horoscope requires a lot of knowledge, if one were to do it correctly. Like what was mentioned earlier, it makes use of a chart with symbols representing the cosmic beings such as the sun, moon, planets, and stars. Any astrologer worth his salt should be able to read this map correctly to learn how these cosmic influences affect a given space in time and how they will relate to a person born at another specific time and place.

It is very unlike psychic reading where one can be imbued with the psychic ability from the get-go, astrology and the horoscope involves some study and preparation from the one who intends to interpret a natal or birth chart. That is why lots of people do look for reliable personal horoscope readers online and are willing to hire their services.

Chinese Zodiac and Horoscopes

The Chinese zodiac is not simply relating the year you were born to an animal and its supposed attributes. While generally, this is the simplest approach to represent a person’s character or how a person perceives him or herself, e.g., those born Year of the Dog are thought to be loyal, emotional and friendly – there are also animal signs assigned by month and hours of the day. Apart from the year of birth, these represent a person’s inner animal and secret animal respectively.

Chinese Astrology Symbols
Photo  by GanMed64

These attributes of inner and secret animal are also divided into 12 parts; each represented in the 12 months of the year and 12 hours of the day a person is born. Hence, a person may seem to be “dog” because he or she was born in the year of the dog; and can be at the same time, “snake” internally and “dragon” secretively.

In Chinese astrology, the month pillar, a.k.a. a person’s inner animal is said to determine the circumstances in an adult’s life. You need to note though, that the Chinese lunar calendar begins in the Spring Festival and not January first in the Gregorian calendar.

Finally, the secret animal, determined by one’s exact time of birth is said to be a person’s truest representation. This hour pillar is said to determine circumstances in the early child and late age life of a person.

Only after these attributes are determined clearly can one proceed with checking compatibility. Animal personalities may match well in adult stages of life, e.g., a dog-horse couple; and may also be incompatible during old age, e.g., tiger and rooster.

Like any other relationship counselor, a Chinese horoscope expert can help prevent or lessen problems between couples. With help on zodiac signs love, a couple can be lead to a proper channel to which incompatibility or disagreement can be avoided at any stage of their lives

Most of the skin care products which are known to benefit contain essential oils. A wide range of aromatherapy oils are known to cure a variety of ailments, specified numbers are good for enriching the skin. Some beneficial essential oils are known to rejuvenate tissue and enhance metabolic functions of the skin. Blending therapeutic oils according to skin type has yielded good results.

You can easily blend some extracts at home for better results, but how do these oils help your skin? These aromatic liquid derivatives are nature's treasure chest of healing wonders. All you need to do is mix a few drops in pure oils like almond, olive and even avocado oil for your personalized home remedy to be ready.

These base or carrier oils are cold pressed from seeds, nuts, and fruits, while essential oils are called 'active ingredients'. Foraging mature skin, essential oils that are enhanced with estrogen, have shown good results in reducing aging signs and wrinkles. Fennel and Clary Sage are known to have anti-aging symptoms. Some effective ones are Sea Buckthorn and Cistus, which have a concentrated Vitamin A and astringent qualities that help firm up the skin.

The quality and purity of base liquids are essential as they should be able to moisturize and nourish the skin. Apricot derivative is excellent carrier oil for dry to normal skin and is nonirritant, even on sensitive skin. Hazelnut, Walnut extracts are slightly astringent and work well on oily skin but can be used on all skin types. Almond oil is full of ketones that help in cell rejuvenation and rebuilding of tissues, leading to increased elasticity.

It is fun creating your own blends that suit your skin. Just take the essential oils that you require and the base oil, add equal amounts of base oil with aromatic oils, mix them well and use it the way you desire- spas, face mask or even a diluted direct application on your body.

However, as these are highly potent, it is best to mix only 30 drops per ounce of base oil.
These tips are not restricted to use but works well for both men and women. Some essential oils can make the skin extra sensitive to sunlight, so avoid using them on the face- lemon, orange, clove, thyme, and cinnamon. Generally, these are safe for all types of skins.

ZEOLITE - Just a Fad or Can It Really Change Your Life

Extruded granules - NaX synthetic zeolite
Extruded granules - NaX synthetic zeolite (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
There's a lot of buzz and hype going around about zeolite, but is it really as great as people are saying it is? I'll admit, I was skeptical too at first. I mean, this product was claiming to help all sorts of health problems, including a huge one that we all face on a daily basis... which you'll read about below. After I read the boatloads of testimonials, scientific evidence, and tried it out for myself though, my skepticism vanished. I believe that more people need to be told about the truths of zeolite, which is why I'll be going over the key points and facts about it in the rest of this article.

So what's the big problem that I was talking about? Toxins. Right now, there are an estimated 100,000 toxins chemicals floating around in our environment, about 25% of which have been known to be cancer-causing. Pretty shocking, right? The fact of the matter is, we are being more and more exposed to these toxins every day. Whether it be from fluoride and other various chemicals the water we drink, the pesticides in our food, or simply the air we breathe, we definitely have a big problem on our hands here.

A lot of these toxins, like mercury for example, just linger around in our bodies. Day by day and year by year they continue to accumulate. Medical research suggests that as these toxins build up, they can possibly reek havoc on the immune system, hormone balance, enzyme activity, brain function, and cell growth. Not only that, but they can possibly lead to diseases like cancer down the road.

I mean, have you actually thought about how prevalent cancer is in our society now? About one in two men and one in three women will develop it in their lifetime. These lingering toxins and other impurities floating around in our bodies may be the culprit. I don't know about you, but I sure as heck don't want my life being ruined by a bunch of invisible toxic pests... especially if there was something I could do about it. That's where cellular zeolite comes in...

First of all, all this zeolite talk isn't new. It isn't just a big fad that has been conjured up out of nowhere, and I'll tell you why. For many years, centuries actually, zeolite has been used by people all over the world to achieve higher levels of health. So why haven't you heard about it until now? Well, quite frankly, there's a lot of natural health remedies we never hear about in the mainstream. Consider yourself lucky.

Anyway, what cellular zeolite does is basically trap toxins and other heavy metals in its honeycomb-like "cages". Since it's one of the few negatively charged particles in nature, it works at the cellular level much like a magnet. All those nasty impurities and toxins get sucked in, trapped, and then flushed out. And guess what? There are no real side effects except for minor dehydration. A few glasses of water a day solves that real quick.

So how can you get a hold of some? Well, originally, I personally was going to get some powdered zeolite but found out that was a big no-no. Turns out, a lot of the powdered forms have already attracted some toxins from nature and haven't been cleaned to remove them. So I searched around the net quite extensively and found a product called 'Natural Cellular Defense'.

The zeolite in Natural Cellular Defense is cleansed and "activated" using a patented process that scientists developed. I don't know the exact procedure, but I do know that it completely removes any impurities from the zeolite molecule and makes it up to 20x more potent. The best part? It's liquid based and extremely convenient. All I do is put some drops in a water bottle, drink it throughout the day, and I'm good to go.

Yes, I do have more energy, more focus, more/better sleep, and quite frankly, I just feel great. But that's not the best part. The best part is knowing that my body is clean and I don't have a bunch of junk floating around in it. To know that I have a solid footing against the toxins I'm continually exposed to and that I'm going to (hopefully:) have a very long and healthy life ahead of me. That's the best part.

I've told tons of people about zeolite and have only gotten more and more positive comments. It's a great feeling knowing that not only have I helped myself, but other people as well. I hope you'll have the same feeling in the future and that this article has aided you in some way. Want more info? Check out one of the links below. If you want to get a hold of some, it's just a few clicks away. All the best!"

Some Suppliers of ALTERNATIVE ENERGY

Sugar cane residue can be used as a biofuel

Amelot Holdings is a company which presently specializes in the development of biodiesel and ethanol plants throughout the US. Amelot's objective is to establish relationships between various suppliers of alternative energy who are biodiesel and ethanol researchers or producers to further their ends with long-term profitability and growth in mind. Amelot furthers the cause of these alternative energy suppliers through the formulation of joint ventures, mergers, and construction contracts.

Environmental Power is an alternative energy supplier that has two subsidiary companies. One of these is Microgy, which is Environmental Power's research and development arm. Microgy is a developer of biogas facilities for the cost-effective and environmentally clean production of renewable energy derived from food and agricultural waste products. These biogas fuels can be used in a number of different applications. They can be used in combustion chamber engines, used directly to make fossil fuel reliance less of a need, or cleaned up to meet natural gas standards and then piped to offices or homes for heating. Environmental Power's other subsidiary is Buzzard Power. Buzzard has an 83-megawatt power facility which generates green energy from mined coal waste.

Environmental Power says of itself, we have a long and successful history of developing clean energy facilities. Since 1982 we have developed, owned and operated hydroelectric plants, municipal waste projects, coal-fired generating facilities and clean gas generation and energy recovery facilities. We are proud to have a management team and board of directors comprised of leaders from both the public and private sectors, including the energy, agriculture and finance industries.

Intrepid Technology and Resources, Inc, is a company that processes waste into natural gas as an alternative source of energy. The company's vision centers on the fact that the US produces two billion tons of animal waste every year, while at once the US' supply of natural gas is dwindling. ITR builds “organic waste digesters” local to sites of organic waste. These facilities produce, clean, and distribute the methane gas from the organic waste; methane gas is a viable alternative to natural gas. ITR is presently operating in Idaho with plans for national expansion.

Nathaniel Energy is a company with the objective of protecting the environment and minimizing total cost of business ownership. The Nathaniel Energy Total Value Preservation System (TVPS) gives companies unique benefits through Nathaniel's recognition of the alternative energy potential of materials that are usually seen as nothing more than waste or pollutants. Nathaniel Energy's technology allows it to extract and transform into alternative energy virtually all of the potential energy locked in waste materials. All of this is produced at almost no additional cost beyond what a company would have had to spend in order to install pollution control and prevention systems.

Nathaniel Energy's innovative TVPS recovers valuable resources which other processes fail to. Throughout the entire process, the maximum amount of valuable material is recovered for reuse, which results in lowered costs and environmental protection. Usual pollution cleanup and control processes treat these materials as mere contaminants that are either destroyed or discarded. The TVPS, therefore, decreases the total cost of business ownership through the provision of an additional stream of income.

Using ALOE VERA in Dental Care

Aloe vera has been widely acknowledged for its ability to heal burns, cuts, and infections. More recently, it has gained popularity for its soothing properties, and the plant is now being recognized for its ability to alleviate many common dental ailments. In fact, when Aloe is present in tooth gel, it cleanses the teeth and gums while soothing the entire mouth.

Aloe can provide many benefits for people looking to improve their oral health. Toothpaste containing aloe vera can eliminate high levels of pathogenic oral microflora. It is also believed to be as effective in combating cavities as traditional toothpaste, as both regulate high levels of bacteria in the mouth. A study in May-June 2009 issue of General Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry's (AGD) journal, concluded that tooth gel containing aloe was just as good or better than commercial brands at controlling cavity-causing bacteria in the mouth.

Aloe gel does not contain abrasive elements which are found in regular toothpaste, making it an excellent alternative for people with sensitive teeth and gums. Plus, aloe can prevent dryness in the mouth. The anti-inflammatory anthraquinones present in aloe latex are natural pain relievers.

Research has shown that aloe vera plant contains enzymes which help the regeneration of cells. These healing properties can help oral care, especially sores, burns, and small cuts on the inside of the mouth. Its anti-fungal properties help to reduce plaque accumulation. Gingivitis, the condition characterized by bleeding and inflammation of gums, can be cured with aloe vera. It can also bring relief to individuals with dentures who are suffering from soreness resulting from ill-fitting dentures. For people who have dental implants, aloe can help fight inflammation caused due to bacterial contamination.

Using aloe vera in dental care is growing in popularity because it is all-natural, with none of the side effects of abrasive chemical agents. You can find extensive information on aloe gel toothpaste online, even ways to make your own Aloe vera mouthwash! Aloe vera gel toothpaste is available in a variety of flavors today. However, you should choose your aloe vera tooth gel in the appropriate form. Ensure that you buy aloe gel toothpaste that is certified by the American Dental Association (ADA) and are designed to prevent tooth decay and gum disease.

ACUPUNCTURE for Weight Loss

Old Chinese medical chart on acupuncture meridians
Old Chinese medical chart on acupuncture meridians (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
It's hard to meet anyone that is not at least a little bit concerned about their weight.  The society that we live in, as well as the type of lifestyle that many of us keep, has led to an epidemic of weight gain that all of us are suffering from.  Even those of us who are able to maintain a fairly lean lifestyle still struggle because of the difficulty of eating a healthy diet and maintaining our weight.  There are some things that can be done, however, in order to help curb your appetite and to lose the extra pounds.  Acupuncture is one of these.

Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese medical treatment that has been done for thousands of years.  Even though it spread throughout many areas of Asia, it really has only become popular in the Western world in the past several decades.  Since that time, many tests have revealed that there is a lot of truth in what acupuncture is able to do for us as individuals.  In recent years, it has also been discovered that a natural balance in the body is one way for you to be able to combat weight gain and problems with overeating.  Acupuncture is a natural way to maintain balance in the body so they work hand-in-hand.

According to traditional Chinese medicine, we all have an energy about us that is typically known as Chi.  This energy has two basic parts that are opposite to each other but when they work in balance they give us the life force that we need.  By manipulating certain parts of our body with acupuncture needles we are able to maintain the flow of energy and to find that balance that our body needs.  This can do everything for us from removing pain and depression to helping us to maintain a healthy weight.

So, if you have been struggling with weight gain or have a difficulty with overeating, acupuncture can help you in several different ways.  Not only can it bring you back into a balanced state where your body will work better as a unit, it can also help by suppressing our appetite and making it easier for us to maintain a healthy weight.  Although it will still take willpower on our part to a certain extent, by using acupuncture to maintain a healthy weight, you will be giving your self some help along the way.

The WHEEL OF THE YEAR

English: Wheel of the Year with Fire Festivals...
Wheel of the Year with Fire Festivals and Quarter Festivals, Neopagan holidays: Yule, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lughnasadh, Mabon, Samhain (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
The Wheel of the Year is an interpretation of the Earth's seasons created by Neopagans and Wiccans. The wheel itself is formed from eight festivals more or less equally spaced throughout the year. The origins of the eight festivals can be traced back to pre-Christian Germanic and Celtic feasts and the wheel combines both cultures. The eight festivals are not only celebrated by Neopagans and Witches as the most commonly known have been adopted by various religions throughout the world.

The eight festivals of the wheel are known as Sabbats, which is a term of Hebrew origin, and there are four greater and four lesser Sabbats. The greater Sabbats are also known as cross-quarter days or Fire festivals and are of greater importance. The lesser Sabbats are also called quarter days and fall on the solstices and equinoxes. The combining of the Sabbats into the Wheel of the Year is a modern concept as there is not thought to be any such wheel before Wicca Witchcraft created it in the 1950's.

Early forms of Wicca only observed the four cross-quarter festivals and it was not until 1958 that the solstices and equinoxes were added by the Bricket Wood Coven, whose High priest was Gerald Gardner, the founder of Wicca Witchcraft. They were added to allow for more times of celebration, which brought Wicca more in line with Neo-Druidism, founded by Ross Nicols, a friend of Gerald Gardner.

The festivals on the Wheel of the Year are closely linked to the seasons and lunar cycles, which explains the common celebrations across religious groups, as the seasons play an important part in most systems of belief, be they bathed in ancient history or more recent. The eight festivals have set
days in the modern world but older forms of Paganism and religion follow the more exact dates which change annually depending on the lunar cycle. This cycle can alter the date by a few days which allows some Pagans to conveniently celebrate each on a weekend rather than a working day during the week.

The festivals of the Wheel of the Year are not copied from ancient rituals by Wiccans but they do draw inspiration from them. Common charms or items are still used in modern Paganism as they have been for thousands of years. Samhain, more commonly known to most of us as Halloween and celebrated on October 31st, is the start of the Neopagan year and is, therefore, also the start of the Wheel of the Year.

TATTOO Stenciling

Tattooing in process. Artist: Damien Bart of B...
Tattooing in process. Artist: Damien Bart of Bruce Bart Tattooing. Model: Cary Bass. Photographer: Michael Deschenes. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
In order to make sure your tattoo is transferred onto your body correctly, a stencil is made from the design you want. Most tattoo artists are very good about having you look it over for details. They want to make sure you are going to be pleased with their finished work and this is where that starts. If you aren’t sure where you want the tattoo to be they can place that stencil on your body with tape to various locations. You can then look in a mirror and decide where you want it to be.

If you want one of the tattoos that a gallery has in a book they can easily make that into a tattoo stencil for you. If you want something customized then they will need more time to get the stencil made. This is why they will likely charge you more money for a customized tattoo than one that they have an image for already. Some of the tattoo parlors have what looks like a copy machine. They insert the drawing and it makes a stencil for them.

Once you have agreed to the look of the tattoo stencil it is time for the work to begin. To transfer the image to your body the stencil is either moistened or clear deodorant is placed on the body. The tattoo stencil is rubbed into place like you would with a temporary tattoo. It is held in place for a few minutes to allow for the entire image to successfully transfer onto your body.

With the process of tattoo stenciling, you don’t have to worry about your image not looking professional. Since a tattoo is permanent on your body you want to make sure it looks every bit as lovely as it possibly can. You don’t want to regret getting it later on. Too many people don’t speak up though when they are shown the tattoo stencil. They don’t want to hurt the feelings of the artist. Keep in mind that they are professionals and they want to do a good job for you. Since you are paying for the tattoo it needs to be 100% exactly what you want it to look like.

An Untapped Source Of Eternal Energy: What Is SOLAR ENERGY?

The most exact definition of Solar Energy is plain – “the energy from the sun”. It is a term used to classify the electromagnetic radiation emitted by the sun and intercepted by the Earth. It is the world’s most permanent and reliable source of energy and the most copious.

The uses of solar energy on earth include solar heating for buildings, solar heat for manufacturing or industry and electricity production. So what is solar energy? How does it affect us?

Solar energy is responsible for weather systems and ocean currents. It provides light, heat, and energy to all living things on Earth. It has many uses. It supplies electricity; it can be used to power cars.

Solar energy is also used as a power for satellites in space and in space shuttles. It could also power boats, generators during emergencies, toys, and even security systems.

The amount of solar energy that the earth receives is about 770 trillion kilowatts (kW), an amount 5,000 times bigger than the sum of all other energy, may it be terrestrial nuclear energy, geothermal energy or gravitational energy.

There are two types of solar energy. These are:

1. Thermal Energy
2. Electric Energy

What is the difference between the two types energy?

Thermal energy is kinetic energy. It is everywhere. It makes the earth hot and even heats up our homes. It helps us to dry our clothes. It is used as well to heat up water for household use or even pools. That is why thermal energy is called the heat energy because it is stored in the centre of the earth as well.

Electric energy is widely known to us as the electricity. It is an essential part of nature and it is one of our most widely used forms of energy. This uses sunlight to power ordinary electrical equipment, such as household appliances, computers, and lighting.

Most applications of solar energy depend on systems including collectors, storage and controls. Storage is needed for a reason that solar energy is only available at daylight hours, but the demand for energy is needed both day and night. Controls are used to guarantee that the storage system works safely and efficiently.

The accessibility of solar energy is determined by three factors:

• The location is usually measured by latitude, longitude and altitude.
• The time.
• The weather.

Aside from knowing that solar energy is a free energy still, you have to realize that it also has advantages and disadvantages.

The advantages are:

• Solar energy is almost limitless; it will be available for as long as there are still humans in the earth.
• It is abundant. You will not worry about running out of it.
• It could provide more power than all known fossil fuel reserves.
• Solar energy is available during the day when electricity usage is really important.
• It is the most inexhaustible, renewable source of energy known to man.
• Solar energy can be absorbed, reflected, transmitted, and insulated.
• It can be collected and stored in batteries.

The disadvantages are:

• It is not suitable for cloudy areas.
• It is not available at night time.
• And it may require large land areas.

As a reminder, solar energy levels are lesser the farther north of the site. Considering geography, the season is an important determinant of solar energy levels because the Sun’s position and the weather vary greatly from summer to winter.

A general description of the Celtic Otherworld
Many of the Celtic myths and stories are related to the otherworld. These are 'magical' worlds that exist in different dimensions inhabited by numerous 'other beings'. The dimensions include the worlds of faeries and dragons, the land of the dead and many other entities such as demons and gods.

The otherworld was not some distant world that was considered inaccessible but was believed by the ancient Celts to be a dimension that was parallel to that of earth's and could be entered into at any time or place. Those that entered these worlds are believed to be exposed to a wealth of knowledge - especially so to those who are seekers of truth, poets, and philosophers.

Portals existed in specific places where entry could be made but was also protected by powerful otherworld magic to prevent unauthorized entry. These words were also known to exist on subterranean levels and could be entered through portals in caves, hills or mountains.

The extent of the otherworld is too vast for the mortal mind to comprehend. It was generally accepted that the invisible inhabitants live in many magical kingdoms and regions and only privileged mortals were allowed to enter these realms. It is also well known that time has no effect on the people of the underworld as they remain young and do not age.

King Arthur - a beautiful tale, a mortal strongly connected to the otherworld
One of the most beloved tales of the ancient Celts is that of the magnificent King Arthur. Arthur was the son of the High King Ambrosius Aurelius and was given to Merlin the Druid soon after he was born. He was raised and trained by the magician and educated about the otherworld. As a young man Arthur successfully removed a magical sword that was lodged in a stone and became king. This sword, which was called Excalibur, was originally the possession of "The Lady of the Lake" - which was otherworldly.

Lady of the Lake Legend
The domain of this lady was known as the Isle of Avalon. Famous knights like Lancelot and Bors were raised in the Lady's underwater palace. Lancelot became known as Lancelot du Lac (of the lake). The Lady of the Lake, Niniane, eventually caused the death of Merlin the wizard by sealing him in a rock. Merlin has foreseen this happening but was so in love with the lady that he ignored his vision. Merlin taught Niniane many lessons in sorcery and in return wanted her to return his love. This ended in tragedy as he paid with his life.

King Arthur became the most famous and just ruler of Camelot and with Excalibur and his faithful Knights of the Round Table, he won many battles. His downfall came when his favorite warrior and most trusted companion, Lancelot du Lac, had an illicit affair with his wife Guinevere. In the Lancelot story, he left Camelot and went on the holy grail quest. This he undertook in an attempt to cleanse himself of the sins of adultery.

The Holy Grail is the cup that was used by Jesus in the last supper. It was also used to catch His blood while hanging wounded on the cross. According to legend, Sir Lancelot du Lac was one of the first Knights of the Round Table to become a Christian. He never obtained the Holy Grail but his son, Sir Galahad had much better success.

Known places of the location of the Otherworld
The island of Ireland has many places where the Otherworld can be reached. The island was said to be inhabited by a group that called themselves "People of the Sidh". They were also known as "Fairy Fort". This fort was a subterranean area that was hidden from the outside world by powerful magic. The province of Munster is said to be the location where the otherworld can be entered.
